Dear David
I am a member of the Zelcovitch family and have contacted you in the past
My grandfather was Jack Zelcovitch, youngest brother of Leah and born in 1892
I have lots of new names to add to this part of your impressive Family tree and I wish to know how to feed the required information onto your platform.
We would also like to use this platform for adding a new branch the SCHNEIDERMAN family
My father (Philip Taylor orig. Scheiderman) married Diana Jacques-Zelcovitch
Greetings, Jonathan! Looking through my email archive, I notice two emails from you from March 2020 to which I have not replied! I’d like to blame the pandemic, but frankly, I have no excuse! Look for an email reply from me shortly, and many apologies.
This platform (the davidmittman.org website) is one way that I “present” my research. Unfortunately, it doesn’t provide the features necessary to “extend” the data. For that, I use Ancestry.com. I’ll send more details by email.
David,
Please include me as well! I’m Robyn Prehn, daughter of Brenda Shack Rogers, Granddaughter of Evelyn Pleeth Shack and great granddaughter of Leah Pleeth. Thanks so much.
That’s intriguing! I have a few emails I’ve exchanged with Jonathan, the latest being one I sent in April 2022. No word of a new Pleeth relative, though. If you have more details, I’d love to hear about them. In March 2020, Jonathan was planning a 100th birthday party for Lucille Goldberg (nee Lachs); I assume the pandemic put the kibosh on that.
Hello –
I’m Anne Murphy, daughter of John Pleeth (b. 1940 – 2020), Granddaughter of Harry Pleeth and Great Granddaughter of Leah & Jacob Pleeth.
My sister, Rachel Pleeth, and I met with Jennifer Shack Weiner (eldest daughter of Michael Shack, Granddaughter of Evelyn Shack (nee Pleeth) and Great Granddaughter of Leah & Jacob Pleeth this weekend.
Our cousin, David Ingham (youngest son of Barbara Ingham (nee Pleeth), Grandson of Harry Pleeth and Great Grandson of Leah & Jacob Pleeth) introduced us to your website.
We see that Robyn Prehn is on here too.
We would love to find out more about this side of our family – so would be most grateful if you could share some of the research with us.
Many thanks,
Anne
That’s phenomenal! Please thank David Ingham for showing you the website. I don’t think I’ve met Jennifer, but I’ve met her parents several times in Los Angeles and San Diego. You’re a third cousin to my mom (you share great-grandparents); John PAVLOVE (Salina PLEETH PAVLOVE’s son) adopted my mom after he married my mom’s mother as her second husband. This page is the “root” of the PLEETH family research I’ve done. If you’re on Ancestry.com, I also have a version of the tree I can share there. I’ll message you on Facebook to share email addresses.

Absolutely! You’ll find your “Family Card” here.
I heard that Johnathan Taylor has found another Pleeth relative. Any news on that??? Robyn
