77Frank Goldberg, 77, Owned Men’s ShopFAIR LAWN - Frank Goldberg, 77, of 18 Lowe Ave., died Thursday night in Riverdell Hospital, Oradell, after a short illness. His wife is the former Rose Sencer.
Born in Poland, he came to the United States 60 years ago, settling in Brooklyn before moving to Paterson. He had resided here for 21 years.
Mr. Goldberg formerly owned and operated Meads Men’s Shop, 231 Market St., Paterson, retiring two years ago.
He belonged to Congregation Bnai Israel and was a First Kanczuger Society of New York City member.
The funeral will be on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. in Louis Suburban Chapel, 13-01 Broadway. Rabbi Stanley Bramnick of Congregation Bnai Israel will officiate. Interment will follow in Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Dr. Leonard Goldberg, of Franklin Lakes; a daughter, Mrs. Jerome Finer, of Canton, Ohio; a brother, Max, of Miami Beach; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The mourning period will be at his late residence.
