95FAYE PAVLOVEFaye Pavlove, 83, Kansas City, MO, passed away Monday, June 21, 1999, at St. Joseph Health Center. Graveside services will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers, family suggests contributions to the National Holocaust Museum, Washington, D.C.
Mrs. Pavlove was co-owner with her husband of House of Faith, Inc., and United Book Services, Inc., book wholesaling companies in Los Angeles, CA, for 10 years, retiring in 1981. She was a former member of Congregation B'nai Jehudah, where she was an active member of its Sisterhood. She was a member of Temple Beth Shalom and its Sisterhood in Mesa, AZ. Mrs. Pavlove was also a Jewish Women International and the American Book Association member.
While living in Kansas City, she volunteered for Baptist Medical Center. She was born in Chicago, IL, came to Kansas City from Los Angeles, CA, in 1981, and then lived in Mesa, AZ, from 1988 until returning to Kansas City in January of this year.
Mrs. Pavlove is survived by her husband of 57 years, John J. Pavlove, of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Amold Balanoff, Leawood, KS, and llene and Charles Mittman, La Jolla, CA; sister, Estelle Grossman, Chatsworth, CA; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Mal Beyda, Northridge, CA; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson. She was an artist, a lover of the Arts and Ballet, a marvelous mother devoted to her family, exceptional homemaking skills, and a gourmet cook. (Arrangements: Louis Memorial Chapel)
