Jean Pope of Ridgewood Becomes Bride of Army Veteran
Ridgewood — At a candlelight service Friday evening in the West Side Presbyterian Church, Miss Jean Maude Pope, daughter of George B. Pope of 123 Washington Place, became the bride of Robert Curtis Weinstein, son of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Weinstein of 359 Sicomac Avenue, Wyckoff. The Rev. George L. Knight, assistant minister, officiated. A reception was held at the Hansen House, Oakland.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride's sister, Marjorie M. Pope, was maid of honor. The best man for his brother was Matthew F. Weinstein Jr.
Following a wedding trip to Florida, the couple plans to live at 359 Sicomac Avenue, Wyckoff.
Mrs. Weinstein, a graduate of Ridgewood High School, is employed in the office of Meyer Brothers, Paterson.
Mr. Weinstein is a Ramsey High School graduate and the Lewis Hotel Training School in Washington, D. C. He is in business with his father, the proprietor of The Barn of Wyckoff. He served for three years in the Army and was in the European theater of operations.
