Theodore B. Novey, Ph.D., age 87, beloved husband of M. Pat Novey, nee Reuben; loving father of Dr. Donald W. (Judy) Novey and the late William E. (Jody) Novey; stepfather of Lise (Buck) Strom and CJ Rogers, Ph.D.; cherished grandfather of Miguel Solari Novey, Rachel (Bradley) Ross, Annie (Dan) Chiado and Samuel Strom; great-grandfather of Chase Ross; dear brother of the late Shirley (Morton) Gordon. Theodore’s accomplishments were too numerous to mention. He will be missed by all who knew him — graveside Service Monday, 2 p.m. at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Elaine Lewitz Engaged to Theodore B. Novey
Mr. and Mrs. Jacob A. Lewitz of East 72d Street announce the engagement of their daughter, Elaine Shirley, to Theodore Burton Novey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen E. Novey of East 73d Place. Miss Lewitz studied at the University of Chicago, Central Y. M. C. A. College, and the Chicago Conservatory of Music. Mr. Novey graduated from Purdue University and now is attending the University of Chicago. The wedding will take place on June 27 in the Bond chapel.
