Dr. C. Cecil Cuppett, of Johnstown, and Ms. Sandra Dietz Cuppett, of New Paris, Pa., announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Elizabeth Cuppett, of State College, to Jonathan Neil Bringuier, of State College, son of Mr. Jean-Paul Bringuier and Mrs. Cindy Alderton, of Los Angeles, Calif. A wedding at the Bedford Springs Resort is planned for July 3, 2010.
Katie is a 2004 Chestnut Ridge Senior High School graduate and a 2008 Penn State advertising/public relations graduate. She is employed by Penn State as a writer/editor and is a part-time master’s student in media studies at Penn State.
Jonathan graduated from Granada Hills High School in 1999, California Polytechnic State University in 2004, and Penn State with an electrical engineering master’s degree in 2006. He is pursuing his Ph.D. in electrical engineering at Penn State.
