Weitman-Mantell

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Weitman of Great Neck, N.Y., have announced the engagement of their daughter, Nanette Suzanne, to Joseph Baylies Mantell, son of Dr. and Mrs. Gerald Mantell of Allentown.

Miss Weitman will graduate in December from the Univeristy of Rochester.

Mr. Mantell received his B.A. and B.S. from the University of Rochester. He has received an assistantship to work towards his Ph.D. at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

A December wedding is planned.

Mantell-Weitman

Nanette Suzanne Weitman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Weitman of Kings Point, N.Y., became the bride Tuesday of Joseph Bayliss Mantell, son of Dr. and Mrs. Gerald Mantell of Allentown.

The ceremony was performed in Great Neck Synagogue on Long Island.

Wendy Weitman attended to her sister as maid of honor, and Mark Kivitz was the best man.

Mrs. Mantell graduated from the University of Rochester on Dec. 18 and will enter law school in the fall. Her father is a vice president in charge of sales for Paramount Pictures Corp.

Mr. Mantell’s father is the director of plastics research at Air Products & Chemicals, Inc., and his mother, Dr. Harret Mantell, is the assistant superintendent of Allentown State Hospital. The bridegroom has an assistantship at Case Western Reserve University.
