1231Deanne Dore Pelio, 60: longtime Monsey resident
Deanne Dore Pelio, a homemaker and longtime Monsey resident, died Friday, July 17, 1998, at her residence. She was 60.
Mrs. Pelio was born March 7, 1938, in Queens to Seymour Wolfgang and Phyllis Dore Helsin Harris.
She married Anthony Pelio on Sept. 3, 1956. They settled in Queens and moved to Monsey in 1959.
Mrs. Pelio was a member of St. Boniface Church in Wesley Hills.
She also was a member of the American Cancer Society.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Deanne Mazzaralla of Tappan, Phyllis Pelio of Haverstraw, and Deirdre Geller of Pomona; two sons, Anthony Jr. of West Haverstraw and David of Garnerville; a sister, Rosemary Conolly of Staten Island; and five grandchildren.
The wake is today at Wanamaker and Carlough Funeral Home in Suffern. The funeral service is at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. Anthony’s Church in Nanuet. Burial follows at Brick Church Cemetery.
