Mrs. Neuman Services Held

Funeral services for Mrs. Jean T. Neuman, who, with her husband, Sol Neuman, owned and operated a grocery store on Etting Street from 1939 until 1943, were held today at the Sol Levinson Funeral establishment, 6010 Reisterstown Road.

The former Jean Terkowitz, Mrs. Neuman, died Monday at her home in Bangor, Maine, following a heart attack. She was 55.

A native of Poland, Mrs. Neuman came to Baltimore at an early age and was raised on West Preston Street. She married Mr. Neuman in 1935, and they lived in Baltimore until 1947 when they moved to Homestead, Fla., where they were in the grocery business.

They moved to Bangor in 1969, where Mr. Neuman was associated with a restaurant.

Besides her husband, survivors include a son, Kenneth Ira Neuman, of Homestead; three sisters, Mrs. Faye Kellar, Mrs. Sally Tabb, and Mrs. Rosalie Klein; and a brother, Irvin Terkowitz, all of Baltimore.
