Jules Larner

Jules Larner, 94, of Palm Desert, died March 27, 2005, in Rancho Mirage.

He was born on Oct. 24, 1910, in Los Angeles.

He married Ruth Larner on Feb. 9, 1955.

He was a physician for 35 years and was the past president of the Congregation Shaarei Torah Temple in Arcadia, chairman of the San Gabriel United Jewish Fund, and a member of the Del Rey Yacht Club.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Larner; his daughter, Jakki Sencer of Glendora; his son, Doug Larner of Arcadia; and five grandchildren.

Internment will be at noon on Wednesday at Mount Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries in Burbank, under the direction of Mount Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries.

The family suggests that donations be made to a charity of choice.
