2820STARTS PRACTICEDr. Sencer Opens Dental Office After Military ServiceAllendale—Dr. Donald M. Sencer has established dental offices in the Van Houten office building at 2 West Allendale Avenue. A native of Jersey City, Dr. Sencer received his training at the University of Pennsylvania. He served 14 months in the Medical Corps during World War II and returned to complete his studies.
He first began practice with his father in Jersey City. He was called into the military service again in 1951, serving as regimental dental surgeon for the Twenty-sixth Infantry Regiment of the First Division, stationed in Germany. Sandwiched between his practice with his father and his more recent military service was a year at the University of Pennsylvania, serving as research associate in oral histology and pathology.
Dr. Sencer was released from military service as captain in February.

2822Dr. Donald Sencer
Services for Dr. Donald M. Sencer, 74, a native of Jersey City, will be at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Gutterman Musicant Funeral Home, Hackensack. He died yesterday at Hackensack Medical Center.
Sencer was a dentist for over 40 years. He was a member of the Cardoza Lodge of Knights of Pythias, Fair Lawn; the American Dental Society; Temple Beth-El, Hackensack; and the Volunteers for Literacy of Bergen County.
He was president of Temple Beth-Sholom, Ramsey.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife, Sally (Weiss); two daughters, Sara Sencer McArdle and Laura Sencer Halsor; three sons, Robert, David, and Steven Siegelman; and nine grandchildren.
