Eighty-seven-year-old Edward E. Mittman, who entered the Kennedy Home within the first year of its operation, died there early this morning.
He came to Martinsville from LaPorte Oct. 15, 1958. A retired bookkeeper, social worker, and office manager, he belonged to the Lutheran Church.
The son of August and Helena Mittman, he was born June 30, 1879. His wife Annetta died several years ago.
He leaves a son, Edward E. Mittman Jr. of Westwood, N.J., and a daughter, Mrs. Naydine Francis of LaPorte.
The Rev. Daniel Bell will conduct funeral services on Friday morning at 10 o’clock in the Kennedy Home. Following cremation, burial will be in Sandusky, Ohio.
Arrangements are in charge of the E. C. Holmes and Son Funeral Home.
