Molla S. Tiffen, 91, died peacefully Sunday, November 4, 2018, at home surrounded by family.
She was the beloved wife of the late Solomon Tiffen and the late Mortimer Dansky.
Born in Bronx, NY, and daughter of the late Martin and Estelle Weiner, she lived in Pompano Beach, FL, and Brick, New Jersey, for 35 years, previously living in Long Island, NY.
She was a special education teacher for BOCES. Molla was a life member and former president of her chapter of Hadassah.
Devoted mother of Diane Lazarus and her husband, Howard, of Cranston, and Deborah Gerstenblatt and her husband, Joel, of Warwick. Dear sister of the late Marcia Weinstein. Loving grandmother of Stephanie, Pam, Sara, and Michael. Cherished great-grandmother of Dani, Jake, Eli, Miles, and Gillian.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the Historic Chapel in Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Blvd., Providence. For friends and family of the Gerstenblatt's, Shiva will be observed at 122 Nanci Karen Drive, Warwick, Thursday 2-4, 7-9, and Friday 2-4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd, #3004, Warwick, RI 02886, or The Miriam Hospital Women's Association, 164 Summit Ave. Providence
