ABRAHAM LEWITZ


ABRAHAM LEWITZ, age 74, formerly of Chicago and Hammond, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 1977, in Seattle, Washington. Survivors: wife, Beatrice (nee Dobson); two brothers, Sam Lewitz of Santa Monica, California, and Jerome Lewitz of Highland Park, Illinois; four sisters, Mrs. Esther Kagan, Mrs. Evelyn Gutter, Mrs. Mary Lubin, all of Chicago, Mrs. Florence Collender of Des Plaines, Illinois.

Graveside services will be held Monday, August 22, at 1 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, with Rabbi Raphael Ostrovsky officiating. No visitation. Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 5840 Hohman Avenue, is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Lewitz was a former member of Temple Bethel.
