1975Elsie AcuffServices for Elsie Pryor Acuff, 72, Springfield, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in First and Calvary Presbyterian Church, with Dr. Jack Stanley Hart officiating. Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery under the direction of Herman Lohmeyer.
Mrs. Acuff died at 2:15 a.m. Friday in St. John’s Regional Health Center after a short illness.
After attending Stephens College, Columbia, she graduated from Southwest Missouri State University. She was a member of First and Calvary Presbyterian Church, the Binnie Clements Guild, PEO, the Museum of the Ozarks, and the Southwest Missouri Museum Association.
Survivors include her husband, Robert L Sr.; two sons, Robert L. Jr., Chevy Chase, Md., and Jack, P. Pryor, Vail, Colo.; a daughter, Elizabeth Acuff Smith, Charleston, III.; a sister, Alma Chamberlain, Hideaway; and five grandchildren.
The body will be at the funeral home after 11 a.m. Sunday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Binnie Clements Guild at First and Calvary Presbyterian Church.
