Mittman

Mittman, Bernie, of Delay Beach, FL, and New Hyde Park, NY, on Thursday, October 23, 2008. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Bernie was a successful businessman, the founder of Brandeis Masonic Lodge, and the founder of Temple Torah in Little Neck, NY. Player for the first Erasmus Hall Championship Basketball Team of 1939. He was also very active in the Basketball Association of Brooklyn. He had many friends and will be missed by all.

Mittman

Bernie and Natalie Mittman of Delray Beach celebrate their 50th anniversary today in Delray Beach.

The Mittmans, who met at the Parkville in Brooklyn, N.Y., were married Feb. 16, 1947, in Brooklyn. They moved to Florida in 1981 from Little Neck, N.Y. Bernie Mittman works as a textile jobber, exporter, and convertor. Natalie Mittman retired in 1981 as a bookkeeper.

The Mittmans have two children: Ronni and Jay. They also have five grandchildren.
