3378Miss Pishner weds S. Mittman Sunday.Janet Pishner and Scott Mittman of Columbus were married Sunday afternoon, May 26, 1991, at the Jeffrey Mansion in Bexley. Judge Marvin Romanoff performed the ceremony uniting the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Eva) Pishner of 1022 Findley Ave. and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee (Paula) Mittman of Worthington.
The bride wore an ivory silk gown with an off-shoulder neckline and beaded and embroidered Alencon lace bodice for her wedding. A pillbox hat covered with beaded lace held the bride’s veil, and she carried a bouquet of white roses and baby’s breath.
As the matron of honor, Victoria Spitter of Cleveland was attired in an ivory tea-length silk dress with a fitted bodice and dropped waistline featuring a beaded lace overlay. She carried a bouquet of peach and white roses.
The bridesmaids were Karen Linser of Nashport, Nancy Noll and Ann Dutt of Columbus, sisters of the bride, Julie Mittman of Chicago, sister of the bridegroom, and Sandra Banks of Columbus. Their dresses and flowers matched those of the matron of honor.
Jennifer Linser, the bride’s niece, was the flower girl. She wore a silk dress similar to those of the attendants’.
The bridegroom chose Andrew Bloch of Beverly Hills as his best man. The guests were seated by Barry Steinman of Cleveland Heights, Tim Madison, Larry Berk and Jeff Gutterman of Columbus, and Gene Pishner of Columbus, brother of the bride. J.J. Linser, nephew of the bride, served as the ring bearer.
The bride received a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and is pursuing her master’s degree in business. She is a market research manager for Micro Center in Columbus. Mrs. Mittman is a member of the Mid-Ohio Direct Marketing Association.
A graduate of The Ohio State University, the bridegroom is pursuing his Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law and Graduate Center. He is employed by Richard Stein, L.P.A. Mr. Mittman is a member of Gallery Players Theater Group and Law Review. Both are members of the Central Ohio Diabetes Association.
Following a wedding trip to Jamaica, the newlyweds will reside in Columbus.
