A. A. MITTMAN.

Andrew Adolph Mittman, 70, died suddenly at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday at his home on rural route No. 6 of a heart ailment. Mr. Mittman, a farmer, had been in ill health for the past two years.

The son of Frederick and Catherine Kleinbeck Mittman, he was born March 21, 1869, in Fruitland Township, Muscatine County, and was a lifelong resident of Muscatine County.

He married Amanda Reinhold on June 8, 1904, in Davenport. He was a life member of the Evangelical and Reformed church and had been a member of the church board for several years. Surviving are the widow, one daughter, Mrs. Harvey Krueger, and one sister, Mrs. Paulina Huttig, all of Muscatine. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at his home and 2 p.m. at the Evangelical and Reformed church, with the Rev. F. C. Schmidt, pastor of the church, officiating. The body is at the George M. Wittich Funeral Home but will be removed to the family home in Fruitland township on Friday afternoon. The burial will be in Greenwood.

WEDDED AT DAVENPORT.

Andrew Mittman Finds Bride in That City Wednesday.

Andrew Mittman, of this city, was married to Miss Amanda Reinhold at Davenport Wednesday, according to a Davenport paper at the home of the bride’s mother, two miles west of Davenport on the Locust Street road. The ceremony was performed at 5:30 p.m. by the Rev. A. D. Greif, pastor of the Lutheran church of Davenport. Only the immediate families of the bride and groom were present. After the ceremony, a wedding supper was served, and on Thursday, Mr. and Mrs. Mittman departed for their new home in Muscatine.
