3220Beckman — Holst
Kathleen “Katy” Beckman and Eric Holst, both of Chicago, were united in marriage on Nov. 26, 2005, at St. Clement Church, Chicago. Attending the bride were Jennifer Kaalberg-Freers, matron of honor; Cinder Greenwood, Jennifer Schreiner, and Julianne Jackson. Attending the groom were Aaron Holst, best man; Nick Burns, Eric Gearing, and Dan Loy.
The flower girl was Madison Schreiner. The bride wore a white, strapless organza A-line gown with three bands at the waist, an apron back and satin edge, and a two-tiered crystal-accented veil with a crystal and pearl tiara. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of deep red roses. The reception was held at the Days Inn Lincoln Park-North.
The bride is the daughter of Andrew and Mary Beckman of Muscatine. She graduated from Muscatine High School, received a degree in film and anthropology from the University of Iowa, and earned a master of arts in arts management from Columbia College Chicago. She is employed at Facets Multi-Media Inc., Chicago, a non-profit film organization.
The groom is the son of Cindy Holst and Bob Fiedler of Grand Junction, Colo., and Phil Holst of West Palm Beach, Fla. He graduated from Muscatine High School and the University of Iowa with degrees in political science and history. He is also employed at Facets Multi-Media Inc.
The couple traveled to Paris, Bordeaux, and London for their honeymoon.
