617Miss Audrey Izenberg Honored At ShowerMiss Audrey Izenberg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Izenberg of 702 Fourteenth Avenue, was honored at a shower at her home on Sunday evening, given by her sister, Mrs. M. S. Rosenthal. Miss Izenberg will leave at the end of the month for Texas, where she will become the bride of Lieut. Jerome Schenker of Fair Lawn, who is stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas.

566Miss Izenberg Is Married To Lieut. ShenkerWedding Of Local Couple Solemnized In EL Paso, TexasMr. and Mrs. Benjamin Izenberg of 702 Fourteenth Avenue have announced the marriage of their daughter, Audrey, to First Lieut. Jerome S. Shenker, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Shenker of 17-02 Morlot Avenue, Fair Lawn. The ceremony was performed last Thursday in the study of Rabbi Phillips, a friend of Rabbi Raisin of Paterson, at El Paso, Texas.
The bride journeyed to El Paso with the groom's mother for the wedding. The couple then spent a brief honeymoon across the border at a Mexican ranch, after which Lieutenant Shenker returned to his post. The new Mrs. Shenker will reside in Texas with her husband.
The bride is a graduate of Eastside High School and was recently employed by the Wright Aeronautical Corporation in a clerical capacity.
Lieutenant Shenker is a graduate of local schools and the University of Pennsylvania. While at Fort Riley a while ago, he was named as the outstanding cavalryman there. He was recently promoted to First Lieutenant after only three months as a Second Lieutenant. In civilian life, he was an accountant. He is now stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas.
