Harold FINDLING - Hints:
Harold Findling, 94, died peacefully on Feb. 7, 2002, of causes incident to age. Harold was the beloved son of Esther and Jacob "Jack" Findling. He was born in NYC on June 17, l907. Married Bernice Williams June 6, l937.
Harold was the owner of the Boston Store on Main Street SLC. Worked at Mednick's and Arthur Frank.
Harold was a man of strong faith. Member of Congregation Kol Ami. Proud to have served 11 years as a volunteer at the SL Veterans Admin. Hospital. Member of Progress Lodge 22 Scottish Rite in Kalah Temple Shriner.
Harold was devoted to Bernice, his wife of 66 years, and his family. He is survived by: his wife Bernice, a niece, nephews, and many grand & great-nieces and nephews who loved him. Many thanks to caring neighbors and friends. Graveside services will be held on Wed. Feb 13 at 2:30 p.m. at the City Cemetery, B'nai Israel, 1021 E. 4th Ave., Evans and Early Mortuary.

2585Mr. and Mrs. Frederic S. Williams of Los Angeles announced the engagement of their daughter, Bernice, to Harold Findling, son of Mrs. Esther Findling, 26 South Wolcott Street, Salt Lake. The marriage will take place in June.

2586Couple Will Spend Honeymoon in EastMiss Bernice Williams of Los Angeles, formerly of Salt Lake City, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred S. Williams, was married Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. to Harold Findling, son of Mrs. Jack Findling. Rabbi Samuel Gordon performed the ceremony at the Findling home, 26 South Wolcott Avenue.
The couple left immediately after the ceremony for New York and the Century of Progress exposition in Chicago, where they will spend their honeymoon. They will return to Salt Lake City in late June to make their home.
