John H. Mittman, of 252 Buckingham Street, formerly of Glastonbury, died Sunday morning at the Municipal Hospital. He leaves one daughter, Marjorie O. Mittman, of Glastonbury, and a brother in Germany. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the funeral home of Taylor & Modeen, 233 Washington Street. The burial will be in Green Cemetery, Glastonbury.

The funeral of John H. Mittman, 252 Buckingham Street, was held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home of Taylor & Modeen, 233 Washington Street. Rev. Herman Machensen, pastor of the German Lutheran Church, officiated. The bearers were Edward F. Deckau and Albert W. Deckau, Otto Kneisler, Julius Mittman, Frederick Mittman, and Theodore Kneisler. Burial was in Green Cemetery, Glastonbury.

Miss Martha Dickau, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Dickau of Naubuc Avenue, and John Mittman of Hartford were married at 5 p.m. yesterday at St. Mark’s Church by Rev. William Schmidt of Manchester. A reception was held at the bride’s home after the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Mittman left at 10 o’clock for a wedding tour. They will live in Hartford.
